BLOEMFONTEIN · TRUCK & FLEET TUNING

Every load.
Every litre.
Every kilometre.

Truck ECU tuning focused on usable torque, fuel efficiency and the demands of a working fleet.

From agricultural haulage to long-distance transport, speak to Boostech Bloemfontein about a calibration matched to your truck, payload and route.

WORKING TORQUE · REAL OPERATING COSTS

More useful pull.
A measured approach.

Truck eco tuning adjusts the ECU calibration around the engine’s working range. The aim is to improve loaded drivability and help the truck maintain momentum with fewer unnecessary gear changes.

The right approach starts with the engine, gearbox, mechanical condition and duty cycle. Fuel economy depends on how that combination performs on your actual routes.

  • Torque delivery suited to heavy loads and everyday working speeds.
  • Coordinated fuel, boost and torque requests for the specific vehicle.
  • Assessment of existing faults before calibration.
  • Before-and-after fuel records to evaluate the result.

FLEET SAVINGS CALCULATOR

What could 5% mean
to your operation?

Enter your own figures. The diesel price below is an example, and the saving percentage is an assumption—not a promised result.

Use comparable loads and routes when measuring your actual saving.

EXPERIENCE FROM THE BOOSTECH NETWORK

Let the fuel records
tell the story.

On Boostech Namibia’s truck page, a fleet operator reported fuel savings of close to 10% for truck H17 and almost 20% for H18. These are customer-reported results from that fleet, rather than a forecast for every truck.

FROM ONE TRUCK TO A FLEET

Start small.
Measure properly.

  1. 01

    Record a baseline

Log distance, litres, payload, route and idle time before tuning.

  2. 02

    Assess the truck

Confirm the specification and review mechanical condition, diagnostics and existing faults.

  3. 03

    Calibrate and compare

Begin with a representative truck. Compare fuel use over similar work after calibration.

  4. 04

    Plan the rollout

Use the measured result to decide which vehicles to prioritise next.

RELIABILITY & DIAGNOSTICS

Warning lights?
Start with the cause.

DPF, AdBlue/SCR and engine-management faults can interrupt work through warnings or reduced power. Include the fault codes, symptoms and any previous repairs in your enquiry so Pieter can discuss the appropriate assessment.

Existing injector, turbo, boost-leak or engine-condition problems need attention before economy tuning. Software should be part of a considered solution for the specific truck.

TRUCK TUNING QUESTIONS

Before you book.

Can you assess my truck for tuning?

Send the make, model, year, engine, transmission and location. Compatibility and the scope of work are confirmed for the individual truck before booking.

Is a fuel saving guaranteed?

No. Payload, route, driver behaviour, speed, tyres, weather and mechanical condition all affect fuel consumption. The calculator is a planning tool. Compare logged fuel records under similar operating conditions to measure the actual change.

Does eco tuning mean reducing power?

The focus is usable torque in the engine’s working range and improved loaded drivability. The calibration is matched to the vehicle and its duty cycle, rather than simply reducing power or pursuing a maximum output figure.

Can we begin with one truck?

Yes. A representative vehicle gives you a practical baseline for deciding on a wider fleet rollout. Include your fleet size and usual routes in the enquiry.

What if the truck already has warning lights or smoke?

Include fault codes and symptoms when you contact us. Mechanical and diagnostic concerns should be assessed before tuning; additional fuel is not a remedy for an existing engine fault.
